MCC Xiangteng Town Square is located in the heart of the commercial center and transportation hub which government’s focus on building “Nanxiang International Community” and “Shanghai suburbs first CBD Nanxiang wisely”.
With a total construction area approximately 180,000 square meters, it is an urban complex integrating business services, business office, culture and entertainment, high-end residential and transportation hubs. The 4.5-meter-high creative space design of the commercial buildings meets the individualized needs and provides a good modern office environment for the settled companies.
The project adapts dark grey and red terracotta panel cladding, the rounded appearance shows another softness of the terracotta panels. The dark grey terracotta panel are more conservative and formal, meanwhile being modern, giving people a formal and professional feel, are widely used in the design of various commercial building areas. The deep red colors symbolizes a mature luxury, the enthusiasm of red terracotta rainscreen makes the dark grey color not dull.
The MCC Xiangteng Town Square project is developed in two phases. The first phase is mainly residential; the second phase is composed of residential, commercial and small-sized apartments. The commercial part is a Nanxiang “sole” large-scale high-end consumer commercial complex that integrates department store retail, lifestyle stores, catering, leisure entertainment and tourism consumption. Upon completion, it will become the commercial center of Nanxiang District.
